I am horrible at blogging unless I have something I am trying to work out, and really right now I don't. I haven't lost more than 5 lbs since February, but the doctor is not worried -
He is so very not worried that we went ahead and scheduled my Tummy Tuck for July (GULP). Am I nervous (YES), and I excited (YES) and will I be glad to be rid of the rolls that make me uber-self conscious (you bet your ass I will). But nervous about the pain/recovery. Have heard it's pretty bad - but I think pain is subjective (fingers crosseed)
Lap-banded and Loving It

The Beginning
It was about 18 months (or so) ago when I decided to take start the process of having a lap-band put on. It's not as drastic as a gastric bypass (I know many who have had success with the by-pass). I knew the by-pass was NOT for me, but the band sounded intriguing and something that I could do well with.
I went to the seminar, I went to ALL the pre-op appointments and I was banded June 8, 2010 and again June 9, 2010 - for some reason my first band slipped blocking my stomach entirely. But I have no ill will -
I LOVE MY BAND
I was 262+ lbs before I was banded and I am not 179 - it's not exactly where I want to be... but I am doing well.
